Soccer Recap: Whiteland Comes Up Short

Whiteland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Greenwood Woodmen.

Whiteland's goal came courtesy of Canaan Carver, which was the first he's scored this season.

Whiteland's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Greenwood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whiteland will face off against Seymour at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Greenwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southport at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
