Baseball Recap: Rogers Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rogers's offense. They came up short against the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies on Tuesday, falling 12-0. The Pirates' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Rogers saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easton Bradley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Rogers will be playing in front of their home fans against West Blocton at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they will venture away from home to challenge Blackman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
