Softball Recap: Wellington Wolverines vs. Seminole Ridge Hawks
Wellington proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Seminole Ridge Hawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wolverines have posted since May 9, 2024.
The result came thanks to Grace VanDyke's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run any time she's pitched this season.
