Soccer Recap: Klein Has No Trouble Against Magnolia West

After failing to score in their last match, Klein made sure to put some goals up on the board against Magnolia West on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Magnolia West Mustangs as they made off with a 6-2 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bearkats' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Magnolia West with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nicole Cruzco (2), Kaylee Cruzco (2), Ava Matthews, and Tori Ramirez.

Klein is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those five games. As for Magnolia West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5-1.

Coincidentally, Klein and Magnolia West will both be playing Klein Oak the next time they take the pitch. Magnolia West will head out to face Klein Oak at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Klein will host them at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th.
