Oak Forest won the last time they faced Blue Island Eisenhower and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bengals came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bengals.

Blue Island Eisenhower's batters probably weren't too happy with Justin Gibbs, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 11 Ks (he gave up two walks).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Blake Morin, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Tokarz, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Oak Forest's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Oak Forest will face off against Hinsdale South at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bengals are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they will take on Rich Township at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
