Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Immanuel Christian last Tuesday, Trinity Christian came back down to earth. The Trinity Christian Gryphons fell to the King Abdullah Academy Falcons 67-61. The Gryphons were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Trinity Christian's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-9. As for King Abdullah Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will welcome Covenant Christian Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King Abdullah Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Veritas Collegiate Academy at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Veritas Collegiate Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 16 matches.
