Basketball Recap: Kingswood Comes Up Short

After flying high against Winnisquam last Friday, Kingswood came back down to earth. The Kingswood Knights fell to the Oyster River Bobcats 55-51. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Kingswood now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Oyster River, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-0.

Kingswood will face off against Kennett at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oyster River has already played their next contest, a 64-53 win against Timberlane on the 6th.
