Baseball Recap: Pine Valley Central Comes Up Short

Pine Valley Central had lost 14 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 0-14 to make it 15. They lost 14-0 to the Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama Wolfpack. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-3 on Saturday.

Pine Valley Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camryn Slade, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

As for Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2. Considering they have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

On Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama's side, they got a massive performance out of Bryce Hinsdale, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Tate Catanese, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Coincidentally, Pine Valley Central and Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama will both be playing Brocton the next time they take the field. The Wolfpack will host the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
