Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Evangelical Christian). They breezed by the Canterbury Cougars to the tune of 70-35 on Friday. The Sentinels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Evangelical Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kellisia Grant led the charge by going 7 for 10 en route to 19 points and four steals. Grant is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Nalah Smith was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards.

Evangelical Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in six consecutive games.

Evangelical Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Canterbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evangelical Christian will host Aubrey Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Aubrey Rogers is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season. As for Canterbury, they will face off against Palmetto Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
