Softball Recap: St. Augustine Catholic Wolves vs. Palo Verde Titans
St. Augustine Catholic can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Palo Verde Titans as the St. Augustine Catholic Wolves made off with a 15-4 victory. The win was just what St. Augustine Catholic needed coming off of a 15-1 loss in their prior matchup.
The team relied heavily on Esme Acuna, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. Arianna Aldana was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBI.
St. Augustine Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Palo Verde, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6.
St. Augustine Catholic will play host again on Wednesday to welcome Catalina, where first pitch is scheduled at 3:45 p.m. As for Palo Verde, they will head out on the road to square off against Sabino at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
