Soccer Game Preview: Bowie vs. Riverside

The Bowie Bears will head out on the road to challenge the Riverside Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bowie barely beat Clint the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears' defense stepped up to hand the Lions a 5-0 shutout on Friday. It was an even better day for Genesis Reyes as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Riverside hadn't done well against San Elizario recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Rangers who were credited with the win.

Riverside has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those six matchups. As for Bowie, their record now sits at 8-4-2.
