Football Game Preview: Marcus Marauders vs. Hebron Hawks + How To Watch

The Marcus Marauders will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Hebron Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Things were looking good for Marcus after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 33-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lewisville. The Marauders haven't had much luck with the Farmers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The losing side was boosted by Colton Nussmeier, who threw for 205 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 54 yards. A healthy portion of Nussmeier's aerial production (95 yards to be exact) went to Austin Allen.

Meanwhile, Hebron ended up a good deal behind Coppell on Friday and lost 37-23. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Cowboys are ranked 18th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Marcus fell to 2-1. As for Hebron, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Marcus might still be hurting after the 31-6 defeat they got from Hebron in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Marauders, Patrick Crayton Jr (who rushed for 172 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
