Baseball Game Preview: The Oaks School vs. Southern Prep Academy Fighting Rangers

The Oaks School will head out on the road to take on the Southern Prep Academy Fighting Rangers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for The Oaks School and ten for Southern Prep Academy.

The Oaks School played against Abbeville Christian Academy on March 4th and lost via forfeit.

Southern Prep Academy came up short against Macon-East Montgomery Academy on Tuesday, falling 20-1.

Southern Prep Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Floyd, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most stolen bases Floyd has posted since back in April of 2024.

Southern Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for The Oaks School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

The Oaks School took their victory against Southern Prep Academy when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 23-10. Will The Oaks School repeat their success, or does Southern Prep Academy has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
