Volleyball Recap: Robert C. Byrd Eagles vs. Princeton Tigers

Robert C. Byrd's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sarina Squires, who had 12 digs. Squires is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Maddie McGill, who had three kills, three blocks, and two aces.
Robert C. Byrd's defeat dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Princeton, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-16-2 record.
Robert C. Byrd is on the road again on Thursday to play Ritchie County at 6:00 p.m. As for Princeton, they will welcome Hurricane at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Princeton is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
