Kennedy lost against Shafter back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds lost 3-0 to the Generals. The Thunderbirds' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Shafter can attribute much of their success to Macy Ulloa, who had 12 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Ulloa has posted over her last six matches. Emily Pugh also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 7-15-2. As for Shafter, the win was the 26th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kennedy will take on rival Chavez at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Shafter is set to challenge their familiar foe Wasco at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
