After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arcadia, Glendale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hoover Tornados. The win was some much needed relief for the Nitros as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Glendale's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Hoover, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Glendale is set to take on their familiar foe Muir at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hoover will face off against rival Crescenta Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
