Simsbury had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Southington Blue Knights. The game was the first time the Trojans have beaten the Blue Knights on their court since November 4, 2021.

Simsbury was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 11-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Their offense was headlined by Molly Schuck and Kira Stefanik, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Delaney Hallam and her 28 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the loss, Southington still got an impressive performance from Paige Raines, who had 18 digs and four assists.

Simsbury's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Southington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Simsbury didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Maloney on the 19th. As for Southington, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Gloversville on the 20th.
