Basketball Recap: Stowe Comes Up Short

Stowe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Richford Falcons 66-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 68-22 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Stowe's record is now 0-4. As for Richford, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stowe will take on Missisquoi Valley in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Richford, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Milton at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
