Softball Recap: Sudan Takes a Loss

Sudan's tournament run continued when they took on West Texas on Saturday. The Sudan Hornets took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Texas Comanches.

Kalissa Harris was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Haylee Toscano was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Sudan's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for West Texas, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Sudan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-8 victory against Morton on the 22nd. As for West Texas, they have also already played their next game, a 12-6 defeat against Perryton on the 22nd.
