Basketball Game Preview: Dickinson Rams vs. Bayonne Bees

The Dickinson Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the Bayonne Bees at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bayonne took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Dickinson, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Dickinson didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Snyder, but they still walked away with a 53-49 victory. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Tigers are ranked 150th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bayonne unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Snyder.

The win made it two in a row for Dickinson and bumps their season record up to 11-1. As for Bayonne, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Dickinson didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Bayonne in their previous meeting on January 3rd, but they still walked away with a 56-52 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dickinson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
