Softball Recap: Lee Williams Wins Going Away Against Chino Valley

Lee Williams never let their opponents score on Saturday. They blew past the Chino Valley Cougars 11-0. With that win, the Volunteers brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Aivree Austin was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Austin was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those triples marked the first that she hit this season.

In other batting news, Sienna Dooley was excellent, scoring three runs while going 1-for-1. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Katrina Murphy, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
