Sugar-Salem extended their home winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Frank Fillmore. Everything went the Diggers' way against the South Fremont Cougars on Friday as they made off with a 41-20 win with plenty of help from Fillmore, who rushed for 126 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 128 yards and two TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Sugar-Salem's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for South Fremont, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Sugar-Salem and South Fremont will both be playing Teton the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Diggers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
