Lakes got themselves on the board against Round Lake on Friday, but Round Lake never followed suit. They blew past the Panthers 49-0. That looming 49-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Ean Ankney had an outrageously good game as he threw for 236 yards and two TDs, and also punched in one rushing score. Nathan Velez was in the mix as well, providing Lakes with two scores.

Lakes didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Porter Cramond and Anthony Perna.

Lakes pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.7 points on average over those games. As for Round Lake, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
