Chatham Charter unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 4-0 to the Phoenix Academy Firebirds on Wednesday. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Chatham Charter struggled afterwards.

Phoenix Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Chatham Charter and Phoenix Academy will both be playing Cornerstone Charter the next time they take the pitch. The Knights will host the Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Firebirds will host them at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
