The Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Brantley County Herons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Reagan Mclain was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Mclain was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-1 with two RBI and a double.

In other batting news, Brantley County let Lydia Anderson and Brooklyn Wildes loose on the outfield. Anderson went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple, while Wildes scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Rilee Story, who went 1-for-3 with a home run.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Brantley County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now hit at least nine hits in three consecutive matchups.
