Recap: Dupree Tigers vs. Harding County Ranchers
There's no place like home for the Dupree Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road back in December of 2023. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Harding County on Tuesday and snuck past 54-52. This was payback for Dupree, who suffered a 75-41 loss the last time these two teams met.
Harding County's loss came despite strong showings from Cohen Smith and Brennan Glines. Smith scored 18 points along with eight rebounds, while Glines scored 13 points along with five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Smith scored 15 or more points. Jarett Schuchard was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Dupree's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. As for Harding County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Lemmon the next time they take the court. Dupree will head out to face Lemmon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Harding County will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
