Baseball Recap: Panther Creek Takes a Loss

Panther Creek lost against Krum on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Panther Creek fell 7-3 to Krum. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aaron Jackson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Kai Richmond was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Even though they lost, Panther Creek hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in four consecutive games.

Panther Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-4. As for Krum, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Panther Creek will square off against Ranchview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Panther Creek is facing Ranchview at the right time seeing as Ranchview is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Krum, they will be playing at home against Eagle Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eagle Mountain will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Krum surely won't give up without a fight.
