Baseball Game Preview: Damien Spartans vs. Rancho Cucamonga Cougars

For the second straight game, Damien will face off against Rancho Cucamonga. The Spartans will welcome the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Damien turned things around against Rancho Cucamonga on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cougars an 8-0 shutout. That looming 8-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Spartans yet this season.

The result came thanks to Rudy O'Dell's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up eight Ks. Those eight strikeouts set a new season-high mark for him.
