Hamilton County and Mt. Carmel are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Foxes will square off against the Golden Aces at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hamilton County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Hamilton County came into this matchup off a tough six-run defeat on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Harrisburg by a score of 8-6 on Tuesday. The Foxes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addison Kelley was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Tinlea Webb, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Mt. Carmel lost 14-4 to Robinson on Thursday. The loss was the Golden Aces' first of the season.

Mt. Carmel saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lyla Keepes, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Kinley Harris also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mt. Carmel fell to 3-1. As for Hamilton County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. Hamilton County hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1 home runs per game. However, it's not like Mt. Carmel struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Hamilton County took their win against Mt. Carmel in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Foxes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
