Rogers waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Clements Colts as they made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Alyssa Richardson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Richardson was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alona Davis, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last five contests. Mattleigh Wells was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Rogers was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clements only posted a batting average of .211.

Rogers' victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Clements, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Coming up, Rogers will venture away from home to face off against Lauderdale County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clements, they will challenge Colbert County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
