Basketball Recap: Navajo's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak at Home

After losing to Sayre the last time they met, Navajo decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Navajo Indians walked away with a 66-59 victory over the Sayre Eagles on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Navajo's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-13. As for Sayre, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Navajo will face off against Cordell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Navajo is facing Cordell at the right time seeing as Cordell is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Sayre, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Snyder at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sayre will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Snyder will have lost five straight heading into Tuesday's game.
