Baseball Recap: Mercer County Takes a Loss

Mercer County managed to slip by Campbell County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Titans lost 13-4 to the Camels on Friday. The Titans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Mercer County's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Campbell County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mercer County will head out to face off against Lafayette at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Campbell County, they will venture away from home to take on Henry Clay at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
