Basketball Recap: Raymond Victorious

Concord Christian came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Raymond, but Drezell Duffaut wouldn't allow it. The Raymond Rams walked away with a 75-68 victory over Concord Christian on Friday thanks in part to Duffaut, who posted 32 points. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Aidan York, who earned 17 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times he's played.

Raymond's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Concord Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Raymond won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Profile at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Raymond is facing Profile at the right time seeing as Profile is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Concord Christian, they will face off against Newmarket at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Newmarket has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
