Sheldon had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They skirted past the Lincoln Cardinals 61-58. The Irish have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

Sheldon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kai Holmes out in front who shot 47% from the field on his way to 17 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Gerrit Cupp, who posted ten points and four steals.

Sheldon's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lincoln, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Sheldon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-71 defeat against Gresham on the 16th. As for Lincoln, they have also already played their next game, an 82-68 victory against Reynolds on the 16th.
