Recap: Midlothian Heritage Jaguars vs. Midlothian Panthers
The Midlothian Heritage Jaguars lost against the Midlothian Panthers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Midlothian Heritage took a hard 63-47 fall against Midlothian. Midlothian Heritage has not had much luck with Midlothian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Leading Midlothian to victory were Jacob Almodovar and Alex Gilmore. Almodovar scored 23 points along with five rebounds, while Gilmore dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for him. Caleb Ricks was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Midlothian Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Midlothian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season.
Midlothian Heritage will be playing at home against Burleson at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Burleson and Midlothian Heritage are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Midlothian, they will head out on the road to face off against Mansfield Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
