Basketball Game Preview: Waynesboro Little Giants vs. Wilson Memorial Green Hornets

Waynesboro hasn't had much luck against Wilson Memorial recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Waynesboro Little Giants will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, Waynesboro took a blow against Wilson Memorial, falling 74-34. While losing is never fun, the Little Giants can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Green Hornets are ranked 66th).

The win was the ninth in a row for Wilson Memorial, bringing their record for this year to 12-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Waynesboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-16.
