Baseball Recap: Washougal Takes a Loss

Washougal couldn't beat Ridgefield on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Panthers fell just short of the Spudders by a score of 8-7. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Nash Neumann was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Silas Hall, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Washougal's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Ridgefield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Washougal is set to take on their familiar foe Hudson's Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Ridgefield will square off against rival Mark Morris at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
