Crossroads Christian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Neuse Christian Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Colts were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Lions on Monday. Considering Crossroads Christian have won six matches by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Neuse Christian Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Elyssa Phillips (4), Leanna Wimsatt (3), Anderson Boyd, and Rebekah Himes.

The win was the fifth in a row for Crossroads Christian, bringing their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those five games. As for Neuse Christian Academy, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-10.
