Baseball Recap: Marsing Finds Home Field Redemption Against Nampa Christian

There's no place like home for Marsing, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Nampa Christian Trojans on Monday, sneaking past 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Huskies have posted since April 17, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Luke Steinmeyer, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Chadez, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Marsing's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Nampa Christian, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 12-4-1.

Looking ahead, Marsing will venture away from home to square off against New Plymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
