Volleyball Recap: Colquitt County Comes Up Short

Colquitt County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lowndes Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Packers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Colquitt County's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Lowndes, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Colquitt County will head out on the road to challenge Georgia Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lowndes, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Camden County on the 26th.
