Haines City entered their tilt with Lakeland on Monday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They claimed a resounding 86-5 win over the Lakeland Dreadnaughts. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Haines City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gilliana Frenel, who posted 17 points. Those 17 points gave Frenel a new career-high. Soleil DeJesus was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Haines City's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Lakeland, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Haines City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 84-23 win against West Orange on the 28th. As for Lakeland, they will face off against Foundation Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Foundation Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lakeland surely won't give up without a fight.
