Baseball Recap: Dulaney Has No Trouble Against Eastern Tech

Dulaney lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Eastern Tech, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. The Lions put the hurt on the Mavericks with a sharp 15-7 victory on Monday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Carter Frick made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Logan Park was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Matthew Rich was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Dulaney was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Dulaney is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Eastern Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
