West Rowan dropped down to 4-4 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were outmatched by the Jay M. Robinson Bulldogs and fell 49-0. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Brant Graham threw for 94 yards on seven of 18 attempts. Dillon Smith was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards. On the ground, Devaunh White rushed for 65 yards.

As for Jay M. Robinson, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.4 points over those games.

Aury Greenfield was his usual excellent self, throwing for 340 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 80 yards on only five carries. Those 340 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Lj Watson was in the mix too, providing Jay M. Robinson with two touchdowns.

West Rowan has already played their next game, a 23-21 win against Northwest Cabarrus on the 24th. As for Jay M. Robinson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 45-19 victory against Carson on the 24th.
