Basketball Recap: South Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

South lost against Africentric Early College back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The South Bulldogs fell 45-32 to the Africentric Early College Nubians. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Nubians are ranked 86th).

Despite the loss, South still got an impressive performance from John Glover, who posted 14 points.

South's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7. As for Africentric Early College, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.

South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 49-35 win against American International Academy on the 1st. Africentric Early College has also already played their next contest, a 46-45 victory against Lincoln on the 1st.
