St. Edmund was the 4-2 winner over Westminster Christian Academy when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. St. Edmund took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westminster Christian Academy on Wednesday. The Fighting Blue Jays' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

St. Edmund's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Westminster Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Edmund will welcome Catholic of Pointe Coupee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they will host Opelousas Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Opelousas Catholic will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Westminster Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
