Baseball Recap: Teton Takes a Loss

Teton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Malad Dragons. The Timberwolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Luke Nelson put in work while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Teton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Malad, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Teton will challenge Challis at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Malad, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Preston at 4:00 p.m. on April 1.
