Flag Football Game Preview: Soledad Aztecs vs. Seaside Spartans

The Soledad Aztecs will venture away from home to take on the Seaside Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Soledad hasn't scored more than six points for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Soledad took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They managed a 6-0 win over North Monterey County.

Meanwhile, Seaside fell victim to Everett Alvarez and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a hard 18-0 fall against the Eagles.

The victory got Soledad back to even at 5-5. As for Seaside, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Everything came up roses for Soledad against Seaside in their previous meeting back in September, as the team secured a 51-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aztecs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
