Baseball Recap: Bloomfield Bengals vs. West Essex Knights
Bloomfield was the 4-1 winner over West Essex when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bloomfield Bengals fell victim to a rough 15-3 loss at the hands of the West Essex Knights on Thursday.
Evan Freid made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with a home run.
Bloomfield now has a losing record at 2-3. As for West Essex, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

As for West Essex, they will head out on the road to square off against Verona at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. West Essex will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
