Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only MacArthur walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Burbank Bulldogs on Friday, sneaking past 4-2. Four seems to be a good number for the Brahmas as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Wyatt Stevens spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

On the hitting side, MacArthur let J.T. Gray and Ivan Castillo run wild. Gray went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run, while Castillo went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits Castillo has posted since back in February.

MacArthur is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Burbank, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-11.

As of now, neither MacArthur nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
