North Surry entered their tilt with West Stokes on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory last Tuesday.

Zarah Love paced North Surry's offense, picking up nine kills. Love got some help from Jaxie Draughn and her 20 assists. Lyla Stanley controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

North Surry's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for West Stokes, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

North Surry has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Forbush on the 14th. As for West Stokes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Bandys on the 18th.
